New boss Mauricio Pochettino has had to contend with an injury crisis since taking over at Stamford Bridge in the summer.

There is currently nine senior players in the treatment room at Chelsea.

Disasi has never been injured before in his senior career, missing only two matches at Monaco due to illness.

And with the news that the 25-year-old could have picked up a problem, some supporters now believe the Blues must be doomed.

Others are convinced he has pulled out of the France squad as a precaution to not risk worsening the injury.

Chelsea supporters have speculated that Lucas Hernandez and Ibrahima Konate would be France‘s first choice centre-back duo from the players available to Didier Deschamps this international window.

Disasi was a substitute in there recent 2-1 loss to Germany.

Therefore, some fans think there “is no point” Disasi joining up with the national team to sit on the bench.

He has played 90 minutes in all ten of Chelsea’s games in all competitions this season.

Arsenal’s William Saliba also withdrew from the France squad with injury.
